AOG — State of the game
Dear Romans,
It has been 10 days since the game’s release.
We, the AOG team, wanted to release this article to let you know where the team and the game stand as of right now.
Since the last rebalance update, we have heard a lot of concerns and suggestions from the community in our Discord server. We have reviewed them and we are considering making adjustments to improve the gameplay experience.
We want to make sure that if we make any changes, they will be thoroughly calculated, so we ask for your patience until we reach a final decision.
In case we do decide to make any change, we will release an organized announcement beforehand, to give the players time to prepare for the changes.
Other than that, the game development and progress is going great.
We are working on many things for the future.
Short term objectives:
- Staking system
We are working on implementing an in-game staking system for the gladiators. This will allow the game to consume less CPU from the players and open the door for more features and upgrades. - Gold uses
We are looking to offer more in-game features to use the gold on. Those features would include limited-time events and more shop items. - Marketing
We are working on a marketing plan to attract new players to the game and build a larger community towards the Arena opening. This includes collaborating with big youtube gaming channels, as well as AMA sessions in prominent NFT gaming communities.
Medium term objectives:
- Release more adventure-related items and mechanics.
- Release more in-game activities.
- Expedite the roadmap, release of PVP, and other features earlier than initially planned.
On a final note, we would like to remind the community of our vision for the game.
We believe that NFT games have the potential to grow beyond just an instrument of investment.
The true values in NFT games come from the game experience and playability which is what we aim to create. We offer gameplay that is competitive and interactive which considers players not only as investors but also as gamers.
