New game mode: Supply Runs
Dear Romans,
for the past few weeks many gladiators complained that they’re not getting properly fed by their Roman owners. The head of the gladiators union, Spartacus, has been in serious discussion with our Caesar about a potential strike.
Luckily, our mighty Caesar has managed to negotiate good terms for our fellow Romans and get the gladiators well nourished at the same time.
Arena of Glory is happy to present our new game mode: Supply Runs
Starting from March 7th, every Roman will be able to participate in a new game mode called “Supply Runs”. In this mode, Romans would be able to send their gladiators on missions that are not meant to earn GOLD, but meant to earn FOOD, our new token.
Similar to adventures, each Roman would be able to go on 3 different Supply Runs every 3 hours, which are randomly generated based on those % and with those requirements.
Each Supply Run has its own probability of appearing depending on rarity after a reload:
・Common 63% ━ Common gladiator required
・Uncommon 22% ━ Common gladiator required
・Rare 10% ━ Uncommon gladiator required
・Epic 3.5% ━ Rare gladiator required
・Legendary 1.4% ━ Epic gladiator required
・Mythic 0.1% ━ Legendary gladiator required
Every Supply Run rewards the player based on its rarity as followed:
・Common ━ 10 FOOD
・Uncommon ━ 30 FOOD
・Rare ━ 90 FOOD
・Epic ━ 270 FOOD
・Legendary ━ 810 FOOD
・Mythic ━ 2430 FOOD
Once Romans are able to obtain FOOD via Supply Runs, they will be required to send their gladiators with enough FOOD in order to embark on Adventures. The harder the Adventures the more FOOD will be needed in order to keep the gladiators well fed. The FOOD cost per Adventure rarity would be as followed (Short/Medium/Long):
・Common ━ FREE
・Uncommon ━ 10/12/15 FOOD
・Rare ━ 30/36/45 FOOD
・Epic ━ 90/108/135 FOOD
・Legendary ━ 270/324/405 FOOD
・Mythic ━ 810/972/1215 FOOD
Important notes for “Supply Runs”:
- Each Supply Run takes 1 hour regardless of its rarity, and has no different lengths.
- The requirement for each Supply Run is only 1 gladiator.
- Gladiators do not give extra bonuses.
- There are no pools for Supply Runs, rewards are fixed.
- Similar to adventures, Romans would be able to add extra slots for Supply Runs, except that Supply Runs slots are temporary (they reset at every reload) and cost 50 GOLD per each slot.
- The FOOD token is an internal game token, and will not be tradable on Alcor exchange, but Romans would be able to purchase FOOD NFTs with it, which are tradable and Romans would be able to burn them (the NFTs) for FOOD in game. (We will release more information about this matter closer to release date)
Special Event: Stock the Granaries
Before the release of food in-game, every Roman will be able to stock up on their food supplies by playing the game. For every 1,000 GOLD used the player will receive 50 FOOD. This can be done by adding slots with GOLD, buying Gladiator Packs or Training Gladiators.
The event will begin on March 1st at 2:00 PM UTC and will last for 6 days. Every player will be able to see in-game how much FOOD they have earned during the event up until the end of the event.
