Supply runs are going live!
Dear Romans,
today the Supply Run game mode will be released and Romans will be able to run these in order to obtain FOOD in-game.
This article will provide a guide as to how the Supply Runs work and how to use them.
We recommend reading our previous article that explains the different FOOD costs for Adventures and different FOOD rewards from Supply Runs.
Where can we find the new game mode?
“Supply Runs” game mode will become available in a tab under “Missions”, right next to “Adventures”. Romans can easily swap between the two in order to navigate between producing food and sending their gladiators on adventures in order to obtain gold.
How to go on Supply Runs?
Similar to adventures, you will need to reload your supply runs once every 3 hours. You will get 3 different supply runs to go on, with different rarities. Each supply run only requires a single gladiator in order to start the run, and takes 1 hour (rewards are in our previous article here). Once you go on the supply run, your gladiator will become unavailable for any other activity until you claim the supply run and receive food.
How do I add extra Supply Run slots?
Similar to Adventures, there will be a button “Add Slots” in the top right of the screen. By clicking this button you are able to add temporary Supply Run slots which are only one time use and will cost 50 GOLD each. If you add a temporary slot, it will appear immediately and you will be able to start the run as well, but when the 3 hours expire, the Supply Run will no longer be available and you will have only 3 slots on the next reload.
How do the Food NFTs work?
As we mentioned in our previous article, FOOD is only an in-game token and will not not tradable on exchanges such as Alcor. But there is still a way for player to “withdraw” their food by creating Food NFTs. In the marketplace, you’ll find 4 different Food NFTs, purchasable for FOOD. Each food NFT has its size and cost and as they increase in size they decrease in “purchase tax”.
The Food NFTs are as followed:
・1,000 Food NFT ━ Costs 1,200 FOOD
・2,500 Food NFT ━ Costs 2,875 FOOD
・5,000 Food NFT ━ Costs 5,500 FOOD
・10,000 Food NFT ━ Costs 10,700 FOOD
Once you buy one of the Food NFTs, you will be able to transfer/sell/trade them as they are tradable NFTs.
Where can I use the Food NFTs?
In the Inventory main tab, there will be a new sub tab called “supplies”. When entering it, you will see all your Food NFTs, and you will be able to use them here. Once a Food NFT is used, it is burned and you receive the amount of food written on it.
Going on Adventures and how they work:
From now on, Adventures will have food costs, those costs are written inside the Start Adventure button so players know how much they will be spending. If a player does not own enough food to embark on an adventure, he won’t be able to do so until he has obtained enough food via Supply Runs or using Food NFTs.
Our gladiators are very excited to finally be well fed, make sure to keep a decent amount of supplies available in case you encounter a particularly difficult adventure! Those require large amounts of food.
